More of Lil’ Girl’s Kitchen Plates

Here is another set of little appetizer plates hot out of the kiln. I experimented with some new glazes here (which I will discuss in detail in a later post) and have mixed feelings about the results. I like the fact that these glazes run and create surprising results, but I am not sure whether I want to try and control the look a bit more in the future. I am a fan of #1, 3 & 5 for color, but like #2, 4 & 6 for consistency in terms of a green set.

These are the bottom of the plates, in the same order. I used Maaco Underglazes on the bottom and them sponged off the center so that the plates wouldn’t stick to the kiln. I also like that you can see my logo and the plate number better.
